All Things New

A New Season Brings with It a Divine Promise

Behold, all things are made new. This isn’t just a fresh start; it’s an invitation to step into the fullness of God. In this newness, we find hope, restoration, and purpose. Each moment offers the chance to embrace transformation, to see the world in a new way, and to walk boldly in the path that He has set before us. Let this be a season where faith grows, hearts are renewed, and His glory shines in every aspect of your lives. Behold, your journey of new beginnings is waiting for you!

A Reflection on Paul's Timeless Wisdom

As the New Year unfolds, many of us find ourselves looking back on the past year, our successes, failures, joys, and regrets. In his letter to the Philippians, the Apostle Paul offers advice that resonates deeply during this season of renewal. Philippians 3:13 KJV states, "Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.” Paul’s message is a call to action, urging us to release the past and focus on the promises that lie ahead. Whether it’s the pain of failure or the pride of accomplishments, the past is the past. Clinging to old hurts can prevent healing, and dwelling on accomplishments can lead to complacency as well as stagnation.

Pressing Towards the Prize

The word "pressing" suggests effort, perseverance, and moving forward with force. The path forward isn’t always easy, but it’s where growth happens. Each new day is a chance to pursue God’s purpose for our lives with consistency, focus, and determination. I believe that Paul’s "goal" wasn’t fame or fortune but the ultimate prize of fulfilling God’s call and eternal life.

As we step into this new year, we are challenged to redefine our goals. What are we striving for? Are our efforts aligned with His divine perfect will for our lives?

Practical Steps to Press Forward in the Year Ahead

1.      Release Past Regrets: Learn from the lessons, but leave the shame behind. God’s grace is sufficient to cover all.

2.      Change Your Mindset: Pay attention to your thoughts and the words that you speak over your life.

3.      Set God-Centered Goals: Focus on the perfect will of God which are His plans for your life.

4.      Stay Committed: The road forward will have challenges, but don’t quit.

A New Year, a New Opportunity

As we embrace the New Year, let us be reminded of Paul’s message: letting go of the past and fixing our eyes on what God has prepared for us. The past has shaped us, but it does not define us. The future is where God’s promises are waiting, and our call to action is to press forward with faith, hope, and determination.

May this year be one of growth and grace.

With love and encouragement,
Annie Eva
