Season of Finally
A Word From God…
Guest Contributor, Mary Elizabeth Fisher
There are times when God doesn’t give instruction but He gives assurance. One word can mark the shift from believing to beholding, from prayer to fulfillment. At the end of spring 2025, God whispered a single word to my spirit: finally. He went on to say, “You are entering a season of finally. You will see what you prayed for manifest. It will look sudden to others, but you know how long you waited. You know how long you prayed.”
In a matter of months, what once felt delayed began to unfold. Dreams long held in my heart moved from prayer to paper, from vision into reality. It was not because I forced them, but because the season itself shifted. It finally happened.
Finally carries the weight of waiting. It holds the tears you cried in private, the prayers you whispered when you were tired of believing, and the faith you kept choosing even when nothing moved. When God spoke finally to my spirit, it wasn’t rushed; it wasn’t loud. It was settled. It was the kind of word that comes after endurance has done its work. Finally doesn’t mean suddenly without a story. It means fulfillment after faithfulness.

In this season, what appears sudden to others is the fruit of years of unseen labor. They didn’t see the drafts that never made it to print, the applications filled out in faith, the doors that closed without explanation, or the seasons where progress felt invisible. When God has speak finally over your life, don’t rush it or reduce it. Honor it. Steward it. Walk into it with gratitude and humility.
Finally doesn’t mean the journey is over. It means Heaven and Earth have aligned, and you are stepping into the chapter you were being prepared for all along. It will manifest on Earth as it is in Heaven.
