Reflection…

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from Glory to Glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Summer Blessings!

Giving all honor to God, who is Lord and Savior of my life. I am so grateful to enter into the second half of the year, we can look back with gratitude. The seasons have brought incredible blessings, meaningful accomplishments, and challenges that tested our faith and perseverance. God has given us strength, wisdom, and fortitude to accomplish the goals and complete the tasks set before us. For that, we have so much to be thankful for.

For the times there were obstacles that seemed impossible to overcome, God faithfully carried me through every one of them. The familiar poem by Mary Stevenson, Footprints in the Sand asks, “Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me? The Lord replied, "The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you."

This answer reminds me that during those difficult seasons, it was not my own strength or resilience that helped me endure, but it was God who sustained me and He will continue to carry both you and me throughout the months ahead.

Moving forward, we will do so with boldness and confidence. Hebrews 4:16 (KJV) tells us to “come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” We will continue to walk by faith, seeing ourselves entering into open doors and fulfilling the divine purpose and plan God has ordained for our lives.

As always, my prayer is that we experience a fullness of joy. May we position ourselves to receive every aspect of it. May we remain focused, prepared, and ready to step forward when the time is right, without fear, without hesitation.

Let us hold fast to the true cause of our journey which is winning souls for the Kingdom of God. Let us live with intention and remain watchful as we prepare for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

With love, and gratitude,

Annie Eve
