Kingdom Pursuit

Living with Intention

Foundational Principal

In this age of information overload, we are bombarded with countless strategies for success, wellness, and fulfillment. Seven ways to do this. Ten steps to achieve that. It is on and on. Yet, beneath the noise lies a biblical truth that changes everything. Jesus tells us to seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto us (Matthew 6:33, KJV).

This is a foundational principle for living our best lives here on earth. The Kingdom of God is not a distant reality waiting in eternity; it dwells within us right now (Luke 17:21). The question is will we pursue it with such conviction that it becomes evident in our daily lives and in everything we do.

Understanding Kingdom Pursuit

Kingdom pursuit is seeking the divine order of Heaven as principles that govern our lives here on Earth. It is an intentional, unapologetic lifestyle that creates wholeness by aligning every area of our lives with God’s way of doing things. When we pursue His kingdom, it shapes how we think, decide, respond, and what we value.

The word of God describes the Kingdom not by appearance, but by righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).  Kingdom living means we no longer allow culture, pressure, convenience or even the need to conform to set our standard. We live by heaven’s divine order.

In this pursuit, we renew of our minds (Romans 12:2), transform how we think, act, and set our priorities. We seek God’s face through his Word and not His hand, pursuing His perfect will rather than His permissive will, which is our own allowed free will.

This establishes a stable foundation from heaven by which everything flows. God's promise is clear, when we prioritize His kingdom and His righteousness as first place, everything we need will be added unto us. This is divine order. This is true fulfillment.

Just a Rehearsal

Here is a perspective that changes everything: this life is a rehearsal for the age to come. Our kingdom living on Earth is preparation for Kingdom living in Heaven. When Jesus taught us to pray, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven (Matthew 6:10, KJV), He revealed that our assignment is to manifest Heaven's reality here and now.

What you practice in this life, righteousness, peace, joy, compassion, integrity, service, justice, mercy, you will live in this fullness now, and beyond your imagination in eternity. Therefore, we don’t spend our time chasing what is fleeting, we invest in Kingdom pursuits that will last forever.

Living on Purpose

Kingdom pursuit is not a passive hope; it is active, and intentional. It is a daily choice to align every area of our lives with God's perfect will. It requires us to examine every decision we make and address them with kingdom principles rather than the world’s quick fixes. This is our call to wholeness. This is the life God has intended for us to live.

As we commit to a Kingdom Pursuit in 2026 and beyond, we will remember this: We are not merely surviving until we get to Heaven; we are bringing Heaven to Earth right now. As children of the most high God, we are citizens of the kingdom, and our King has given us with everything we need to live our best lives now.
